About H&H

Hi there ! I'm Jen the founder of Heart & Hygge. I know you're supposed to have a polished headshot for these types of intros but this is me... and it's my version of hygge. My happy place is here at home cuddling my dog in pajamas.

🖤 I was born in London and went to University in Ottawa and Melbourne Australia but I now live in Niagara Falls with my partner Sonny and our two dogs Doug and Maya. I can't thank Sonny enough for supporting all my big and sometimes crazy dreams.

🖤 9-5 I work as an Initiatives Manager for Canada Life where I do all things strategy with a talented team who makes me laugh and love what I do everyday.

🖤 I grew up in London with one brother. My Mom and Dad taught me hard work, always giving back and never being afraid to go after your dreams. They have always been my biggest fans!

🖤 I crave using my creative side which I get from my Dad who never turns down my DIY ideas to upcycle and give old furniture new life.

🖤 My family taught me that "to much is given, much is expected" and it's something I try to embody everyday through philanthropy and volunteer work.

🖤 I am lucky enough to be surrounded by so many supportive women who I have been friends with my whole life and inspired my 1st collection.

🖤 Sonny gets to use his creative side when renovating and flipping properties. I do my best to help but he is definitely the handy man behind @odincanada properties.

🖤 I am the fundraising volunteer at @happys_senior_dogs which is an organization that's helps rescue senior often senior dogs and holds a special place in my heart.

🖤 I have been an avid fan of gold filled layering pieces and began making some of my own during quarantine. This hobby turned into a passion project and is now @heartandhygge.jewelryco

🖤 I can't wait to show you all things we have planned next.... We will be doing very special personalized memorial pet pieces to give back to organizations like @happys_senior_dogs that are close to our hearts.
